Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Schedule and confirm patient appointments using medical scheduling software - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member - Verify insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing - Maintain patient records and update medical information as necessary - Collect payments for services rendered and provide receipts to patients - Assist with maintaining a clean and organized reception area Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role preferred - Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as Dentrix - Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional patient service - Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
